Updated January 21st, 2012 - Amazon is now selling its second building and has confirmed buyers committed to over 200 units total in the development since its launch just a few months ago. Competition is heating up with Atlantis and La Santir nearby but Amazon's long standing presence in the Pattaya real estate community through founding company 'Matrix Group' has helped it hold its ground against the competition. Buyers interested in rental investment in Thailand or affordable condos for sale in Pattaya would do well to place Amazon condo at the top of their shopping list for Pattaya real estate.
Financing terms at Amazon are also heating up - higher leverage options are now available on this condominium to help keep it competitive with Pattaya's fast-paced real estate market.
Updated November 10th, 2011 - Amazon jomtien properties has been selling out quickly since its official launch to the Pattaya real estate scene just 1 month ago. Matrix's generous early pricing on this property has lead Buyers to favor the most affordable units in the condo building as well as ground floor units with direct access to the condominium's massive swimming pool. At Amazon jomtien condos 77 of the first building's 200 units are now sold!
Amazon Jomtien properties is a continuation of best selling budget project of 2010-2011 – Paradise Park. During a difficult time where some developers were struggling, Paradise Park was exactly what the market demanded, selling over 500 units in just 18 months. Amazon jomtien condos has shown no mercy by following the footsteps of it’s predecessor as Pattaya’s best selling development of late 2011. Located in the heart of Jomtien near the 6 lane ‘Jomtien 2nd road’, the development is expected to increase in value quickly as the land nearing the expansion continues to build up in the years to come.
This project is modelled after Paradise Park Pattaya condo, major improvements in design of the key areas that were attractive yet just not quite right. Quality of Interior finishing and free full furnishing have improved dramatically. The overall look of the building has changed to a tropical theme with hints of jungle flair noticeable in the common area design. A unique tiered waterfall, cave & grotto concept which compliments one of the largest swimming pools in Pattaya. The fitness centre and restaurant have been moved out of the tiered main pool area, making the common areas less claustrophobic than Paradise Park Pattaya condos.
The Appeal of Iguana Group Matrix Group's series of projects off of Soi Wat Boon over the past few years begun with Park Lane properties Pattaya, a 608 unit building that launched in 2009 and was the first major project for the Israli developer following Hyde Park I and Pattaya Heights. Park Lane was an instant success at the time as there was simply no affordable options in the city for buyers seeking resort style amenities in Pattaya, Jomtien or Wong Amat. New condos in Pattaya at the time were running an average of 2.5-3 million baht. Park Lane hit the market with its famous tagline '1 million baht condos.' This instantly captured the attention of investors that continue to return to the now renowned developer for attractive and well finished rental investment units.
The appeal of Park Lane went beyond rental investors. Units looking over the swimming pool were more expensive but still quickly snatched up by the expat crowd and were a perfect match for buyers spending 3-4 months per year here in Pattaya who were sick of big hotel bills, but did not want to sink a big chunk of money into a piece of Thai real estate.
Paradise Park properties Pattaya followed in May, 2010 with an identical concept in the same location but with greater emphasis on interior finishing quality and a better engineered building plan. Paradise Park is now 95% sold out of its 500+ units in just 18 months.
The success of the projects has not gone unnoticed. The recently launched Atlantis project poses an indirect threat to the success of Amazon Paradise Jomtien with impressive financing terms, easier to access 2nd rd. location, and significantly higher interior finish quality albeit at a 15% higher price point than Amazon - well worth the price for those looking to step things up a bit.
Amazon Jomtien was designed and engineered to make both previous Pattaya condominium projects from the same developer look like childs play, architecturally speaking. The new project boasts amenities that are hard to find in condos twice this price point by many other local developers. At the time of writing, showrooms are not yet complete but we are interested to see how much more Matrix can squeeze out of a surprisingly livable 35 square meter space this time around.
